Jonathan has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. From June 2005 to February 2016, he held a number of positions at PIMCO, most recently serving as Chairman of PIMCO’s broker dealer, Head of Global Wealth Management and Head of the firm’s 500 person New York office. During his time at PIMCO, Jon also worked as Head of the firm’s Institutional Business Group and twice served on the firm’s eight person Executive Committee. He was also a member of the firm’s Global Operating Committee and Business Assessment Committee. From 1998 to 2005, Jon worked at Putnam Investments in a number of roles, including Chief of Staff for the firm’s retail division and as an institutional portfolio manager. Prior to joining Putnam, Jon worked as a fixed income portfolio manager and research analyst at Fidelity Investments from 1990 to 1998. Jon started his career as a bond trader at Salomon Brothers, where he worked from 1985 to 1988. He received an MS in Economics and Finance from the MIT Sloane School in 1990 and a BS in Economics from Georgetown University in 1985.
