aEdward Hoe

Before joining Arena, Ed was a partner at Mercury Capital Advisors, the global placement agent acquired by Investcorp, where he raised capital for private equity, private credit, and growth equity managers. Previously, he was a managing partner for Altima Securities, the US broker-dealer for Altima Partners, a London-based global special situations manager. Prior to that, Ed spent seven years in private equity at Merrill Lynch, first building out the Private Equity Partners business and later serving as a managing director raising capital within the Financial Sponsors Group.

Ed was also previously head of the US office for UBS Phillips & Drew, the London-based arm of UBS Asset Management, and was a vice president in business development with the Bankers Trust Investment Management Group serving as a product specialist and capital raiser for their derivatives investment strategies. Ed also worked at the New York Stock Exchange in the Global Listings department and began his career in the management training program at JP Morgan.

Ed holds a BS in computer science from Columbia University.
