Lawrence began his career with the US Marine Corps and US Department of Defense. Upon earning an MBA, he joined the Syndicated and Leveraged Finance team at JP Morgan. Subsequent to JPM, he ran two portfolio companies of the private equity firms J.F. Lehman & Company and Carmelina Capital Partners. After leading a successful out-of-court restructuring as board member of one of the portfolio companies, he focused his career on corporate restructuring, initially in financial advisory with Zolfo Cooper and Rothschild Debt & Restructuring Advisory and then in creditor-side investments/restructurings with CRG Financial and Credit Suisse’s Special Situations Workout team.

Lawrence holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
