aPeter Lockee

Peter has more than 30 years of experience structuring and executing complex real estate transactions across a wide variety of real estate asset classes. Before joining Arena, he was managing director, principal, and head of real estate investing at Spectrum Group Management, an alternative-asset firm that focuses on event-driven investing in the distressed, special situations, and asset-based credit markets.

Peter was previously managing director at Blackacre Capital Management, the predecessor to Cerberus Real Estate Capital Management, the real estate arm of Cerberus Capital, where he invested directly and indirectly in more than $1 billion of real estate equity, debt, and operating businesses. Prior to his time at Cerberus, Peter was vice president at Credit Suisse First Boston (now Credit Suisse) in the Real Estate Products Group, where he was responsible for investing in floating, fixed, and mezzanine real estate loans, forward loan commitments, and joint venture equity investments. While there, Peter also managed the securitization of performing and sub-performing commercial mortgage loans.

Peter earned a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
