aTsering Lamae

Tsering has more than a decade and a half of international compliance management experience gained through posts in North America and Asia. Before joining Arena, he served as director, advisory compliance at BlackRock, where he advised on their alternatives business. Before that, he was the director, compliance and APAC ex-Japan CCO of Lone Star Funds and Hudson Advisors group based in Hong Kong and New York. During his tenure at Lone Star Funds and Hudson Advisors group, Tsering built the compliance infrastructure in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, India, China, and Thailand. He also has held compliance leadership roles at Cargill (Swap Dealer) in Minneapolis and Singapore, at Dalton Investments in Los Angeles, and at CarVal Investors in Minneapolis. He began his compliance career at Citigroup in New York.

Tsering holds a BBA in finance and investment from the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, New York, and an LLM (master of laws) in compliance and regulations from the University of Hong Kong.
